I was very nervous first going in to show a doctor you have never met before a private part of your body that you are not happy with and try to avoid showing people in the first place! Dr. Van Wyck is extremely professional and almost scares you during the consultation by telling you all the negative possible outcomes. I even remember asking him if he felt that I would have good results with a breast augmentation and lift or not? I decided to go ahead with the surgery and am so glad that I did. I wouldn't trust anyone else other than Dr. Van Wyck for any other future procedueres. He is a true artist at his craft and a perfectionist at what he does. Please note that when initially you go in for your consult and you want someone to convince you, and comfort you about the procedure Dr. Van Wyck is not that kind of doctor. But you have to remember what you are really looking for and that is someone who is open and honest about the procedure and is sooooooo skilled at what he does.

I had male breast reduction. The doctor was frank, patient and informative. He was extremely cautious during the procedure and completely responsive to my inquiries. He took more precautions than a veteran orthopedic surgeon had when removing a surgical prosthetic just recently. Dr Van Wyck is an artist and so it's understandable that his clinic and demeanor tend to reflect that. But make no mistake, he is a skilled technical surgeon. And heck, you want your surgeons in this field to be artistic.

I went in for a consultation with Van Wyck for a lot of worked I wanted done since I have lost 130 lbs and have a lot of loose skin all over my body. I found him to be condescending and rushed--he did not take time to really investigate my situation, it was a quick appointment. He also told me he couldn't do a tummy tuck and my breasts in the same surgery because it would take too long for him in the operating room. Overall he was unhelpful and he did not win my trust or sell it to me. I went to another surgeon instead and I'm glad I did!

I had been considering plastic surgery for years. I had also visited and paid for several consultations with different plastic surgeons. Every one of them left me with doubts in my mind as too whether I should do it or not. I had a lot of extra skin on my thighs. I had tried exercises but because of my age, my skin was no longer resilient and it didnt want to shrink back into shape. I needed a medial thigh lift on both legs. From my first phone call to my last visit, my experience was totally enjoyable, informational and it left me without a doubt as to whether I wanted the surgery or not. If you are considering plastic surgery please dont procrastinate, call Dr. Van Wycks office and see for yourself what a pleasant experience you can have. I highly recommend Dr. Lloyd Van Wyck, his office staff and his surgical staff. It was very evident to me that everyone worked as a team for the well being of their patients.
